About the Therapist
I’m Abigail (she/her), therapist (MA, MS, LPCA #8787) and founder of Labyrinth Counseling. I have a graduate background in theological studies, and I work with individual adults with various general and specific support needs including religious trauma, queer identity, faith transition, climate anxiety/depression, and high sensitivity.
I use a variety of integrative therapeutic approaches that include internal family systems, inner child and parts work, EMDR, and emotions focused therapy. I always tailor my approach based on the goals and strengths of each client in a warm and collaborative style. I have a special passion for supporting those who work in academia, creative and artistic industries, hospitality, and medical professionals including animal medicine. I am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America for climate-aware therapists.
Therapy invites us into the contemplative practice of discovering and uncovering our true selves as we walk together in the labyrinth of our lives. My goal always as a therapist is fostering a relationship built on safety and trust where you feel supported, accepted, and challenged to grow and heal in lasting and foundational ways.
When I’m out of the office I enjoy reading nonfiction, watching a great sitcom, hanging out with my cats, and cooking local vegetarian food.
